CVE-2026-9306Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated image disclosure via unscoped task lookup

Published May 23, 2026 · Updated May 23, 2026

Authorization bypass in QuantumNous New API 0.12.0 through 0.12.1 allows remote attackers to read Midjourney images via task IDs. The image route is registered before TokenAuth, and RelayMidjourneyImage passes the path ID to GetByOnlyMJId, which queries only mj_id and streams the stored image without an ownership check. The Midjourney module must be enabled and a valid task ID must be known or guessed; successful exploitation discloses that task's generated image without credentials.
