Account-status manipulation via nonce-free bulk actions
Published Oct 17, 2026 · Updated Oct 17, 2026
CSRF in WPEverest User Registration & Membership 5.2.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to change account status via forged requests. The trigger_bulk_action() handler lacks nonce validation, while an earlier handler returns before its check and the bulk handler exits before WordPress core validates the request. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to follow attacker-controlled content, enabling approval of pending registrations or denial of accounts that locks targeted users out.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
