Internal XML disclosure via ungated HTTPS fetching
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
Server-side request forgery in MISP sachertortephp allows remote authenticated users to retrieve and parse XML from arbitrary HTTPS URLs. Xml::build() evaluates the HTTPS prefix outside the readFile guard, so readFile=false still sends the URL through HttpSocket and follows redirects. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled input to this code path with readFile disabled; successful requests can disclose XML returned by internal services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
