Unauthenticated configuration disclosure via spoofed forwarding header
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Authentication bypass in OpenEye Apex NVR firmware 3.2.9.376 allows remote attackers to disclose configuration information. The non-TLS web interfaces trust a client-supplied X-Forwarded-For value as the request source and accept a spoofed loopback address as local. No authentication or user interaction is required; the bypass reaches controls intended for local connections, with confidentiality impact limited to configuration data.
