Authenticated access retention via stale bearer tokens
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Insufficient session expiration in CJBI admin3 through 3.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to retain disabled-account access. AuthInterceptor accepts any bearer token still present in session storage without rechecking the associated user's locked state, while each request refreshes expiration. Exploitation requires a token issued before an administrator disables the account and preserves that account's original read and write permissions.
