CVE-2026-92912Network attack vector

Channel impersonation via predictable RTMP publish keys

Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026

Weak RTMP publish-key generation in WWBN AVideo allows remote attackers to broadcast content as a channel owner by guessing the key. The LiveTransmition::createTransmitionIfNeed() and resetTransmitionKey() methods assign raw uniqid() output, encoding the creation second and only five hex digits of microseconds with no random component. Exploitation requires knowing the channel creation second and testing up to one million candidates through RTMP; a recovered key also reveals key-derived HLS paths.
