Unauthenticated file inclusion via unvalidated profile tab
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Path traversal in WP User Manager 2.9.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to include local PHP files through a crafted profile tab. The profile tab selector accepts the tab query value without checking it against registered tabs, then uses that value during profile template loading. No authentication is required; disclosure follows from readable local files, while PHP execution additionally requires an attacker-controlled PHP file already present on the server.
