Unauthenticated unpublished-post disclosure via open REST routes
Published Sep 19, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Information exposure in WordLift – AI powered SEO – Schema 3.54.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to read unpublished post data. The /wordlift/v1/jsonld/ routes use __return_true as permission_callback, and the converter calls get_post() without checking post status or requester capabilities. No authentication is required; enumerating post IDs exposes titles, content, authors, dates, counts, and metadata for private, draft, and pending posts.
