Reflected XSS via unescaped request parameter key
Published Oct 3, 2026 · Updated Oct 3, 2026
Reflected cross-site scripting in Exactly WWW EWWW Image Optimizer 8.7.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in a visitor's browser. The HelpScout Beacon script block places an attacker-controlled REQUEST_URI parameter key into page output without adequate escaping. The enable_help option must be active, and a visitor must follow a crafted link; the script executes in that visitor's browser context.
