Authenticated code execution via Vision-session privilege confusion

Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026

Ignition Perspective authorization bypass allows remote authenticated users to execute Gateway code via a Vision session identifier. Its Designer-access check accepts a valid Vision session identifier without validating the session's privileges. Access to a Vision project is required; affected releases are 8.1.0 through 8.1.54 and 8.3.0 through 8.3.8, and code runs with Gateway-process permissions.
