Authenticated PHP function invocation via callback injection
Published Sep 19, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Code injection in Save as PDF Plugin by PDFCrowd 4.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to invoke PHP callables. The eval_shortcode() path accepts an attacker-chosen pdf_created_callback, and save_as_pdf_pdfcrowd() decrypts and invokes it without authorization or an allowlist. Contributor-level access is required to mint a valid encrypted blob, which can then disclose stored PDFCrowd credentials or enable further server-side abuse.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
