Unauthenticated customer data overwrite via type juggling
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Authorization bypass in Ladela Interactive Bookly 28.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite existing customer contact data. The postValidateCustomer() function loosely compares a JSON-decoded verification_code value with the session code, so boolean true matches a nonzero integer. The unauthenticated AJAX path accepts this value and permits changes to an existing customer’s name, email, phone, and address, redirecting booking notifications.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
