Browser code execution via unescaped API field names
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
Code injection in Refine Inferencer 7.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers with data-provider control to run JavaScript in a developer's browser. The field-inference path takes property names from Object.keys(), inserts them unescaped into generated JSX attributes, and passes the source to react-live for compilation and execution. Exploitation requires a developer to open an Inferencer page backed by an attacker-influenced API; the injected script runs in that page's browser context.
