Editor-level stored XSS via evaluated form type
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Stored XSS in CodePeople Form Builder CP before 1.2.47 allows remote authenticated users to run script in visitors' browsers. The form_structure setting stores an unsanitized ftype value and concatenates it into eval("new "+ftype+"()") when the form renders. Editor-level access is required, and a visitor must load a page containing the affected form; the script then runs in that visitor's WordPress origin.
