Command injection via unescaped object-token line terminators

OS command injection in ljharb shell-quote 1.1.0 through 1.8.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via crafted object tokens. The quote() function escapes .op values with a regular expression that skips line terminators, leaving shell command separators intact. Exploitation requires a caller to pass attacker-influenced object tokens to quote() and execute its output with a POSIX shell.
