Cross-record data access via missing permission checks
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Authorization bypass in metasfresh ERP c4c7766ef403eb470c9130031cf24cc33625ceed allows remote authenticated users to read or alter other records. DocumentAttachmentsRestController and CommentsRestController accept sequential window and record identifiers after assertLoggedIn without applying record-level permission checks. Any authenticated role can read attachments, archives, and comments or add content; attachment deletion also requires the role's global deletion permission.
