Unauthenticated trace analytics disclosure via unwrapped routes
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Missing authentication in SigNoz 0.88.0 through 0.141.0 allows remote attackers to read trace analytics through HTTP requests. RegisterTraceFunnelsRoutes registers six payload-based analytics handlers without ViewAccess, while identity middleware passes anonymous requests onward and the handlers execute queries without reading claims. Any network client that reaches the query-service HTTP port can recover trace identifiers, timing, service topology, span counts, and error activity and can trigger unbounded analytics work.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
