CVE-2026-9271Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator credential capture via permissive note sanitization

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

Stored XSS in KeepInMind Dashboard Notes before 0.8.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject content into an administrator's browser. The REST note-saving path applies an overly permissive wp_kses policy to the content parameter, retaining style attributes and viewport-covering CSS. A Contributor-level role must be enabled and an administrator must view the dashboard; the demonstrated payload can cover the interface and redirect the victim to credential capture.
