Cross-request memory disclosure via backing-buffer serialization
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Information disclosure in Svelte devalue 5.1.0 through 5.9.2 allows remote attackers to read process memory via SSR responses. The stringify and uneval functions encode a Node Buffer's entire shared backing ArrayBuffer instead of only the view's visible bytes. A public SSR render that returns a small Buffer requires no authentication and can place up to 64 KB of another request's body or Authorization header in HTML.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
