Admin stored XSS via unescaped icon setting
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Stored XSS in AYS Pro Secure Copy Content Protection and Content Locking before 5.1.5 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The settings handler stores the ays_sccp_sub_icon_image value without sanitizing it and later renders the value without output escaping. Administrator privileges and a later page view are required, including on multisite installations where unfiltered_html is disabled.
