CVE-2026-92680

Credential disclosure via reversible registry protection

Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026

Credential exposure in Araxis Merge for Windows 2011.4074 through 2026.0 allows local users to recover stored remote-server passwords. The Windows credential-storage path writes Perforce and Subversion passwords to registry values without sufficient cryptographic protection, leaving the retrieved values decryptable. Exploitation requires authenticated local access but not administrative privileges and exposes every Merge credential stored by the targeted user.
