Cross-site scripting in SketchUp 2026 before 2026.1.3 allows attackers to execute system commands and read local files via malicious SKP files. The Dynamic Components options window fails to sanitize SKP-supplied content before rendering it in an embedded Internet Explorer 11 browser. Processing a crafted SKP file is the gate; exploitation runs with SketchUp privileges and can execute commands or exfiltrate local files.
