CVE-2026-92622Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unescaped lightbox_class shortcode attribute

Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026

Stored XSS in WPChill Strong Testimonials 3.3.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via lightbox_class. The lightbox_class shortcode value reaches a thumbnail lightbox wrapper's class attribute without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, so saved markup executes when the affected view is loaded. Contributor-level access is required, and execution occurs only when a published testimonial has a featured image and its view enables the lightbox wrapper.
