CVE-2026-9260

Authentication information disclosure via hard-coded cryptographic keys

Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026

Hard-coded cryptographic keys in Canon EOS Network Setting Tool 1.5.0 and earlier allow local users to obtain authentication information. The FTP/FTPS/SFTP communication test function relies on cryptographic keys embedded in the application rather than keys supplied at runtime. Exploitation requires local access, and the published consequence is limited to disclosure of authentication information used by that function.
