Vote manipulation via missing video access check
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Missing authorization in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter votes on restricted videos through the API. API::like checks only that a user is logged in, then constructs a Like without calling User::canWatchVideo for the supplied video ID. Any account can therefore change like or dislike counters for password-protected or group-restricted videos it cannot watch.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
