Privileged session compromise via stored User-Agent script
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in privileged sessions. VideoStatistic::save() stores an unrecognized User-Agent without calling setApp(), and the statistics table later inserts the app value through innerHTML. Exploitation requires an owner or administrator to view the affected video's statistics, after which the script can perform same-origin actions as that user.
