Command execution via unescaped stored SSH password
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
OS command injection in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands through a stored CloneSite SSH password. CloneSite substitutes the decrypted password into a single-quoted sshpass and rsync command with plain str_replace, so an embedded quote escapes the argument. Exploitation requires an enabled CloneSite cron job, an authenticated administrator to visit a malicious page, and a reverse-proxy or same-host configuration that defeats the CSRF check.
