Unauthenticated PII disclosure via public video slugs
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
Broken access control in WWBN AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read restricted videos and owner PII via a public slug. The get_api_video endpoint enters its clean_title lookup branch without enforcing the selected video’s user-group restrictions and includes owner account fields in the response. No authentication is required; knowledge of a restricted video’s public slug exposes its video data, email, phone, address, birth date, and administrator status.
