Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
Improper privilege management in Import and export users and customers before 2.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to become administrators. A user holding create_users but not promote_users can assign the Administrator role and obtain full site-administration privileges.
