Stored script execution via unencoded textarea value
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Stored XSS in Ninja Forms 3.15.3 allows remote attackers to execute scripts when an administrator reviews a malicious submission. The legacy submission editor inserts an anonymous Paragraph Text field value into a non-RTE textarea without safe HTML encoding. A public form must accept the crafted value, and a high-privileged user must open the stored submission before code runs in the WordPress admin origin.
