Unauthenticated cart disclosure via unchecked saved-cart identifier
Published Sep 27, 2026 · Updated Sep 27, 2026
IDOR in Mailchimp for WooCommerce before 6.3 allows remote attackers to read a customer's email address and saved cart contents. The campaign-tracking path accepts an mc_cart_id query parameter, retrieves the corresponding local cart record, and restores its serialized contents without authenticating the requester or verifying cart ownership. Exploitation requires a valid identifier derived from the customer's email address; successful access also confirms that the customer shops at the store.
