Integration takeover via unvalidated account-linking state
Published Oct 17, 2026 · Updated Oct 17, 2026
CSRF in Patreon WordPress before 1.10.0 allows remote attackers to take over the site's integration through a forged linking request. Patreon_Routing::handle_authorization_flow accepts request-supplied OAuth state without binding it to the administrator's session, then saves replacement integration credentials. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to follow a crafted request and links the site to an attacker-controlled account rather than granting WordPress administrator access.
