Host profile takeover via unchecked record ownership
Published Sep 19, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Authorization bypass in Themefic Hydra Booking 1.1.0 through 1.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to take over host profiles. The host-profile update path accepts a user-controlled host record identifier without confirming that the record belongs to the requesting host. A Hydra-assigned host role is required; exploitation permits editing another host’s profile data and reassigning that record’s ownership.
