Contributor-level quiz tampering via nonce ownership bypass
Published Jul 3, 2026 · Updated Jul 3, 2026
Authorization bypass in Quiz and Survey Master 11.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify quizzes they do not own. The /quiz/structure endpoint issues a nonce for an arbitrary quiz ID, and the email-save endpoint accepts it without verifying quiz ownership. Contributor-level access is sufficient to overwrite result pages and redirect quiz-result notifications to attacker-controlled addresses.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
