IPsec key disclosure via configuration read handler
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Information disclosure in Netcore NR255-V 1.5.130703 allows remote attackers to read stored IPsec PSKs and RSA key material. The l2tpd_config_show.cgi handler reads IPsec configuration through l2tpd_config_show_cgi.c, ipsec_show_cgi.c, and mod_vpn_remote/plan.json and returns stored secrets to a query. Public evidence does not state whether management authentication is required; exposure compromises VPN credentials but does not establish write access or service interruption.
