Unrestricted file upload in Synaptik CMS 1.3.4.0 through 1.3.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to create executable files via rename. The Admin File Manager rename/move handler fails to confine destination paths or reject executable extensions. Admin File Manager access is required; exploitation can place attacker-chosen code outside the protected media directory, where server configuration determines execution.
