Credential disclosure via SQL parameters in slow-query logs
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Sensitive-data exposure in Devolutions PowerShell Universal 2026.2.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read credentials from logs. The Microsoft SQL Server slow-query logger writes unredacted SQL parameter values containing application tokens, data-protection key material, and stored credentials to the system log. Exploitation requires a Microsoft SQL Server-backed instance and authenticated log-read permission; exposure is limited to secrets present in logged parameters.
