Authenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated review summary
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Arbitrary shortcode execution in Roxnor WP Ultimate Review 2.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to invoke installed shortcodes. The review-submission path passes xs_submit_review_data[xs_reviw_summery] to do_shortcode without properly validating the supplied value. Subscriber access is sufficient, and the resulting effect depends on which additional shortcodes are installed and callable.
