Server-side file disclosure via unvalidated URL fetch
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
SSRF in the AWS Strands integration for AG-UI 0.3.0 allows remote attackers to access local files and internal network services. Multimodal URL content reaches urllib.request.urlopen without scheme, host, address-range, redirect, or response-size validation. Reachability requires an agent endpoint accepting crafted RunAgentInput content; the default helper adds no authentication, and returned bytes can enter model output.
