Memory corruption via STORE bounds-check wraparound
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Integer overflow in NASA AMMOS F Prime before 4.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via FpySequencer STORE directives. The store_directiveHandler adds sequence-controlled offsets and sizes as U32 values before memcpy, allowing wraparound to bypass stack bounds validation. Exploitation requires high privileges and sequence control; crashes are demonstrated, while code execution depends on build flags and memory layout.
