Crash via oversized event packetization
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Denial of service in EventManager in NASA AMMOS F Prime before 4.3.0 allows remote attackers to crash deployments via bridged events. The loqQueue_internalInterfaceHandler accepts log arguments without reserving packet metadata space, then asserts when serialization exceeds ComBuffer capacity. Exploitation requires a GenericHub-to-EventManager event bridge and control of incoming hub events; standard assertion handling aborts or resets the receiving process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
