Arbitrary file write via unchecked destination paths
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Path traversal in F Prime before 4.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite files via Svc::FileUplink packets. Svc::FileUplink::File::open copies StartPacket.destinationPath and opens it for writing without canonicalization or upload-directory confinement. Exploitation requires file-uplink access and permits file creation or overwrite only at locations writable by the deployment process.
