Insufficient input validation in affected NETGEAR router firmware allows remote authenticated users to modify router software and functionality. NETGEAR has not published the affected interface, input field, or validation error that permits the unauthorized modification. Exploitation requires administrator authentication and access from the local network; the documented consequence is limited to integrity changes.
