CVE-2026-9204Network attack vector

Authenticated file read via secondary URL SSRF

Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026

SSRF in GitLab CE/EE 18.10, 18.11, and 19.0 branches allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files from Gitaly. During repository import, insufficient validation of secondary URLs lets Gitaly fetch attacker-selected file and network URLs instead of restricting requests to intended destinations. Exposure requires an authenticated user who can import a repository; affected ranges are 18.10 before 18.10.8, 18.11 before 18.11.5, and 19.0 before 19.0.2, with impact limited to file disclosure and internal-resource access.
