Authenticated secret disclosure via GET permission bypass
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Missing authorization in Semaphore UI through 2.19.12 allows remote authenticated users to read project environment secrets via GET requests. GetMustCanMiddleware skips its project-resource permission check for GET and HEAD, so the environment endpoint returns plaintext fields. Guest or task_runner project membership is sufficient to expose credentials and passwords stored in accessible environments.
