Authenticated code execution via unsandboxed Jinja2 rendering
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Server-side template injection in Polyaxon 2.16.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code in the scheduler. During server-side run preparation, an unsandboxed Jinja2 environment renders user-controlled queue, namespace, conditions, presets, and dependencies fields. Any account able to submit a run can execute operating system commands with scheduler-process access to database credentials and service tokens.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
