CVE-2026-91923Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via unvalidated git remote URL

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

SSRF in KubeSphere through 4.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP responses and expose Secret credentials. The git credential verification handler passes remoteUrl to go-git's origin.List(), then returns non-2xx response bodies in its JSON error message. Any authenticated account can reach the endpoint, and secretRef lets the service attach Basic Auth credentials from Secrets in namespaces the caller cannot access.
