CVE-2026-9190Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authentication bypass via conflicting HTTP message lengths

Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026

HTTP request smuggling in Progress MarkLogic Server before 11.3.6 and 12.0.3 allows remote attackers to bypass access controls. The HTTP App Server accepts requests carrying both Content-Length and Transfer-Encoding headers, causing it and a reverse proxy to disagree about request boundaries. Reachability requires a reverse proxy path to an affected App Server; successful desynchronization allows session hijacking or credential capture without authentication.
