Credential disclosure via unmasked configuration logging
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Log disclosure in Dell Terraform Provider for OpenManage Enterprise allows remote authenticated users to read credentials. In versions 1.0.0 through 1.2.3, provider configuration logs sensitive credentials at INFO/TRACE levels, and Configure emits the username without masking. Exploitation requires low-privileged remote access to the exposed logging information; the documented consequence is disclosure, not data modification or service interruption.
