CVE-2026-9188Network attack vector

Unauthenticated appointment manipulation via predictable edit keys

Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026

Authorization bypass in Wappointment 2.7.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to cancel or reschedule other users' appointments. The tryCancel() path and unauthenticated cancellation and rescheduling endpoints accept appointmentkey as the sole authorization token, while edit_key is an unsalted MD5 of sequential client_id, observable start_at, and enumerable staff_id values. The vulnerable operations are reachable only when cancellation or rescheduling is enabled, and a computed key permits modification of another customer's appointment.
